Note there is a difference between Student & Academic versions in terms
of manuals and that the serial number for a Student version is sent to you

Student software packages
Is a CD + Claim Form which the student software needs to complete and send to Adobe to receive the serial number to install. There is no user manual in a Student package.
It generally takes about 3-4 working days to get your e-mailed serial number from Adobe. Once you've purchased you can call Adobe to follow up on processing your serial number.
Am I eligible for Student versions?
To be eligible students* are those who are enrolled at an accredited public or private Primary or Secondary School providing full-time instruction, or full or part time students enrolled at Higher Education Institutions defined as accredited public or private university or college that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study. *Not teachers or anyone else, genuine students only.
ID required
When requested you must provide Adobe with a valid, current student ID that includes name, date, and a photo. You will get more information on the form that we will send you with the CD. You must be a genuine student as stated above.
Limited numbers/Use: This product is limited to one per customer and may only be used on a privately owned computer. It may not be used for commercial purposes.

Is there a time limit on using Academic Editions?
No, there is no time limit for using a Academic Edition.

Must evidence of eligibility be provided?
