EPSON EMP-TW700 projector
- Review & specifications

Note many people also considered the Sanyo PLV-Z5 because of the higher specifications, 2 x HDMI, 2 x component, quieter, made in Japan and longer warranty. If your room is that bright that you really need more power consider a "Daylight projection screen" as it doubles the brightness and filters out most ambient light.

Newly developed wide zoom lens allows EMP-TW700 to project the subtle transparencies and details within the

both forward and back with relation to the screen. The short focus lens is capable of projecting an 80inch
screen from as close as 2.5m
Bright and Sharp
EMP-TW700 delivers superb image brightness and colour contrast. Capable of brightness levels of up to 1,600
ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 10000:1
Vertical / Horizontal Lens Shift
It comes equipped with a vertical and horizontal lens shift function that allows the user to reposition the image

to the side and view an undistorted image on the screen. By utilising this function, you can widen your range of
set up possibilities around the room.
E-TORL lamp
Light projection efficiency with minimal light diffraction and the elimination of light leakage. Light is undoubtedly
the most critical element in any projector; and Epson’s E-TORL (Epson Twin Optimised Reflection Lamp)
technology is undoubtedly the leader in its field. Designed to eliminate light leakage and minimise light
diffraction.
Epson Cinema Filter
Wider colour spaces and superior colour purity
An inherent feature in all Epson Home Cinema projectors is a uniquely designed Cinema Filter. Built into the
projector’s lamp system, the Cinema Filter is a crucial component in achieving wider colour spaces and colour
purity. This innovative technology is able to optically adjust the colour tone for incredibly accurate colour
reproduction.
Auto aspect mode
Automatically detects the aspect ratio of the image source to deliver the best suitable viewing size.
7 Colour Modes
Whether choosing from Dynamic mode at 1600lms or a film like texture and image quality with Theatre black 2
mode at 350lms, TW700 has all the colour mode options when it comes to the true cinema experience.
Epson Super White
Express images in “Super White” to compensate for the overexposure often evident in bright portions of images.
