Photo-Tex adhesive will not leave a sticky residue against 99% of any surface when removed. It can be placed in all weather conditions and it will not shrink or curl like vinyl. It won't rip or wrinkle and can be pulled apart if it folds over during installation.

It can be illuminated with a backlight, be wrapped around wall corners, ceilings and poles, re-positioned and re-used over and over again, actually the adhesive never weakens. You can even paint on the material or make custom cut-outs as you can kiss-cut (coutour-cut) the material.

Used in photography (reproduce any picture, create sports actions shots, artwork murals), wallpaper borders, corporate advertising, signs , posters , department stores ads,  elevators door coverings, racecars, window signs.

Since we are now becoming a household name in the industry there are a few "knock-offs" popping up. Since we cannot  put on every dealer in the USA, Other suppliers will try to lure you into buying their version of a "knock-off"- Photo Tex. Yes,  you can guess the line they are going to feed you! - Its exactly the same and cheaper than Photo Tex !   Even though it may feel like Photo Tex, we have had many many customers giving us feedback why they are STICKING with Photo Tex.

  • After a few moves the adhesive is almost gone or lost its tack.
  • After a couple months the adhesive actually strengthened and took paint right off the wall when I removed it.
  • The ink broke down from weather and washed right off the material.
  • Their adhesive is removed when pulling apart when it came in contact with itself, you can rub it right off with your fingers.
  • Their material does not have any toxic information.
  • Their material is not green or bio-degradable.
  • Their specification say you cannot use outside.
  • Their specifications say you cannot leave up for more than 6 months.
  • The adhesive stayed on the window, and we only had it up for 24hrs..
  • You can easily rip their material with your hands.
  • They have no idea if their material is free of Glycol-ether, Formaldehyde, or Phthalates.

* UV  inks can be used with either version of PHOTOTEX, but  bleeding  heavy solids  o the end of the material  may  cause  curl.  So you may want to leave up to a 1/2" border. Also turn your heat setting to low , 45C as excessive heat when printing can weaken the strength of the adhesive.
