The MegaPlex projector models will never match true 1080P (HD) home cinema projectors, neither model supports 3D if that's your thing, however for the caravan, holiday house or multimedia business presentations the MegaPlex models may be a nice option. Especially if your source material is being viewed from your iPodm iPad etc..
Another market is for people renting apartments where you don't have the room or permission to fit a more standard projection option such as a ceiling mounted projector.
The MG50 has a digital zoom function, the MG850 has an optical zoom (better).
