Phasers (solid ink) are also more environmentally friendly as there are no toner cartridges and no toner particles in the are that have been of concern |review| solid ink printers can handle the thickest paper in the class. Phasers are often used for wedding stationary etc. Because less heat is used with solid ink the printers don't tend to scrunch up envelopes like some laser printers.
